Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: May 18, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how Kepo handles subscription cancellations, renewal charges, AI credits, digital services, and refund requests. This Policy applies to purchases made directly through Kepo unless a different policy is shown at checkout or required by law.

1. General Policy

Kepo provides digital software, AI-assisted features, subscriptions, usage credits, and access to online services. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable once the paid service, subscription period, AI credit allocation, or digital access has started.

We may review refund requests case by case, but offering a refund in one situation does not require us to offer the same outcome in another situation.

2. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal, account settings, or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout, cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period.

After cancellation, you may continue to have access to paid features until the end of the billing period already paid for, unless the service has been terminated for misuse, non-payment, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.

3. Renewal Charges

Subscription renewals are charged according to the billing interval shown at checkout or in your account. You are responsible for cancelling before the next renewal date if you do not want to be charged again.

Refunds for renewal charges are not guaranteed. We may deny a renewal refund if the subscription was not cancelled before renewal, if paid features were used during the renewal period, or if the request is made after a reasonable support review window.

4. AI Credits, Usage, and Digital Access

AI credits, generated outputs, widget builds, plugin development usage, cloud processing, and other usage-based digital services may involve immediate computing cost. To the extent permitted by law, used AI credits, completed generations, consumed usage, and services already delivered are non-refundable.

If a plan includes usage limits, quotas, credits, or entitlements, unused portions do not automatically convert to cash, rollover, or become refundable unless the checkout page or a separate written agreement says otherwise.

5. Plugins, Built-in Browser, and Third-Party Websites

Kepo may help you build, run, or view widgets that access third-party websites through the Kepo built-in browser, local plugin runtime, APIs, feeds, or user-directed automation. Third-party websites can change their layout, restrict access, block automation, require login, rate limit requests, or discontinue services at any time.

Unless required by law, we do not provide refunds solely because a third-party website, feed, API, account, login session, plugin, or integration becomes unavailable, changes its rules, blocks access, returns incomplete data, or prevents a widget from continuing to work as expected.

6. When We May Consider a Refund

We may consider a refund if you contact us promptly and one of the following applies:

  • you were charged because of a confirmed billing error caused by Kepo;
  • you were charged more than once for the same paid period or same purchase;
  • a paid feature was materially unavailable due to a Kepo-controlled issue and no reasonable workaround was available;
  • applicable consumer law requires a refund, cancellation right, or other remedy.

We may require account details, invoice information, request IDs, screenshots, or other reasonable information to review the request.

7. When Refunds Are Usually Not Available

Unless required by law, refunds are usually not available for:

  • change of mind after access to the digital service has started;
  • forgetting to cancel before a renewal date;
  • unused time in the current subscription period after cancellation;
  • used AI credits, completed generations, or delivered digital output;
  • temporary downtime, maintenance, beta features, or minor bugs that do not prevent core paid access;
  • third-party website, API, login, account, content, anti-automation, or policy changes;
  • account suspension or termination caused by misuse, abuse, non-payment, or Terms violations;
  • fees charged by banks, card networks, payment methods, currency conversion, or taxes already collected where non-refundable.

8. EEA, UK, and Other Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you may have statutory rights that cannot be limited by this Policy. We will honor mandatory rights that apply to your purchase.

Digital content and digital services may be provided immediately after purchase. To the extent permitted by applicable law, when you request or use immediate access, cancellation or refund rights may be limited once the digital content, digital service, subscription access, AI credit allocation, or usage-based service has started.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us first if you believe there is a billing problem. If you start a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend account access while the payment processor, bank, or card network reviews the dispute. We may provide relevant account, invoice, usage, and support records to respond to the dispute.

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund review, contact us at support@kepo.ai and include the email address on your Kepo account, the invoice or payment reference, the purchase date, and a short explanation of the issue.

Refunds, when approved, are usually returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment processor, card network, bank, and payment method.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to refund requests made after the "Last updated" date, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
