Terms of Service
Last updated: May 18, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Kepo, including the Kepo website, desktop application, AI-assisted widget creation features, plugin store, subscriptions, and related services. By using Kepo, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Kepo provides software that helps users create, manage, and view desktop widgets and information panels. References to "Kepo", "we", "us", or "our" mean the operator of the Kepo services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use Kepo. If you create an account, you are responsible for the information you provide, the security of your login credentials, and all activity under your account.
You agree to keep your account information accurate and to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Use of Kepo
You may use Kepo for lawful personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms and any product limits shown in the application, checkout page, account page, or related documentation.
You must not use Kepo to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- attempt to access systems, accounts, data, or services without authorization;
- interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt Kepo or third-party services;
- upload, generate, distribute, or request unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content;
- remove, bypass, or misuse usage limits, access controls, billing controls, or security protections.
4. AI-Assisted Features
Kepo may use AI models and automation tools to help create widgets, summarize information, parse web pages, or generate configuration and code. AI-assisted output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific use case.
You are responsible for reviewing any AI-assisted output before relying on it, publishing it, sharing it, or using it in a business process. Kepo does not provide legal, financial, medical, professional, or compliance advice.
5. Built-in Browser and Website Access
Kepo may include a built-in browser, local plugin runtime, and automation tools that let you access websites, pages, feeds, APIs, or services from inside the Kepo application. These features are user-directed: you choose what sites to access, what accounts to sign in to, and what widgets or workflows to run.
If you sign in to a third-party website inside Kepo's built-in browser, that session may be stored and used locally by Kepo so the widget or workflow can perform the task you requested. Kepo does not need to read your separate personal browser profile to do this.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to access, process, summarize, monitor, or display data from any third-party site you use with Kepo. Kepo does not guarantee that a third-party site allows automated access, scraping, monitoring, widget rendering, or use of logged-in content.
6. Plugins, Widgets, and Third-Party Services
Kepo may let you install, build, publish, or run plugins and widgets. Some widgets may access third-party websites, APIs, feeds, or services. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of those third-party services complies with their terms and applicable law.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, data practices, pricing, account restrictions, or policy changes.
Plugins may process page content, account-visible data, configuration, and session-derived information that is available inside the Kepo environment in order to perform the widget or workflow you request. Only install or run plugins you trust, especially when using Kepo with sensitive accounts or logged-in websites.
7. Your Content and Data
You may provide prompts, configuration, account information, widget settings, plugin metadata, uploaded materials, and other content while using Kepo. You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights needed for us to operate, secure, improve, and support the services.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit and use your content with Kepo. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, regulated, or highly personal information unless the specific feature is designed for that information and you understand the associated risk.
8. Subscriptions, Payments, and Credits
Some Kepo features may require a paid subscription, one-time purchase, usage credit, or other paid plan. Prices, billing intervals, included usage, renewal terms, and plan limits are shown during checkout or in the product interface.
By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize Kepo and its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period, where automatic renewal is offered.
Taxes, currency conversion, payment method fees, and bank charges may apply depending on your location and payment method.
9. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a subscription according to the cancellation options available in your account, billing portal, or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already paid.
Refund requests are reviewed according to the refund policy shown on our website, at checkout, or provided by support, including our Refund and Cancellation Policy . Digital services, used AI credits, completed usage, custom work, and already consumed subscription benefits may be non-refundable unless required by law.
10. Intellectual Property
Kepo, including its software, website, designs, logos, product names, documentation, and related materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of Kepo or our intellectual property.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Kepo for its intended purpose.
11. Service Changes and Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, plans, limits, or services. We try to keep Kepo reliable, but we do not guarantee that every feature will be available at all times or that every third-party integration will continue to work.
12. Termination
You may stop using Kepo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Kepo or others, failed to pay amounts due, or used the services in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm.
13. Disclaimers
Kepo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kepo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of Kepo after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
